Attorney Chris Young Appointed to Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged

Attorney Chris Young, a Senior Partner of Perry & Young, was recently appointed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to the Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged. He is joined by three other respected and influential professionals, Samatha Ferrin, Robert Majka, and Monica Russell.

The Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged (CTD) is tasked with improving statewide access to efficient, cost-effective transportation services specifically for disadvantaged persons. Members of the Commission like the newly appointed Attorney Chris Young create policies to reach this goal. They also handle various other responsibilities of the Commission, like contract management, program evaluation, and overall financial planning for the Commission’s projects.

As a highly skilled attorney and litigator, Chris Young will be able to lend his in-depth legal knowledge to the Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged. Should the Commission run into any legal questions or problems, Attorney Young will undoubtedly be the first person to address them.

From all of us at Perry & Young, we want to show our gratitude to everyone who helped make Mr. Young’s appointment to the CTD possible, including Governor DeSantis. We look forward to seeing the many ways that Chris will make a positive difference for communities across Florida through his work on the Commission.
